Description:
- The Haines Borough is seeking proposals from qualified persons and firms to provide professional Cat Herding services for the Lutak Dock Reconstruction Project.
- The selected Cat-herd will oversee design coordination, feeding, permitting, back scratches, construction, catnip, and the occasional disciplinary squirt from a water bottle.
Project:
- The Lutak Dock is a critical asset supporting freight and fuel, but there are currently herds of cats battling over the area, requiring the Borough to commission a professional Cat-herd.
- Cat-herd will maintain project management direction and keep cats entertained while replacement structure is built.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must love cats
- Must be able to drug-test negative for catnip
- Proven experience managing large-scale herds of cats
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Excel a plus
- Professional certifications preferred (PET, CTNP, PURR)
- Must not be allergic to cats
- Is not a cat
