Many thanks to the community and assembly for pushing back on 5G cell towers.

Recent Chilkat Valley News articles, including one from May 8, 2025, state things like:  “Those concerns have been difficult at times for borough staff and officials to weigh, mainly because they  are at odds with a broad scientific consensus and major regulatory agencies, which say 5G is not a health threat.”

(The concerns in question are the health impacts of 5G on children.)

Another, published on Sept. 11, 2025,  “Federal regulatory bodies maintain that electromagnetic waves from cell towers do not pose a health risk to people at distances and dosages currently allowed in law.”

I don’t believe we can rely on federal regulatory agencies at this time, or global bodies/think tanks, such as the World Health Organization. Remember “safe and effective” COVID vaccines? There’s not consensus on that being true either.

There exists much credible scientific evidence to support that there are indeed harmful effects associated with 5G cell towers. Meanwhile, in addition to a current push for 5G towers, they are planning to roll out 6G towers, and there is relentless forward momentum to a digital control system, where everything is tracked. It is important not to blindly follow regulatory agencies, thinking they have our best interests at heart. I believe they are captured by for-profit driven industry,  while we pay for it. The same goes for so-called “scientific consensus.”

One helpful source for info is the Children’s Health Defense. Or search: “CHD launches stop 5G initiative to help communities challenge cell towers” to find out more.
