This past weekend had great weather for a hike, made all the more pleasant by the recent upgrades to the Battery Point Trail.
These include defined creek crossings, reinforced stair, and gravel placement over muddy areas that greatly improved the trail experience.
Thank you to Haines Huts and Trails crew and the many volunteers and anonymous helper who worked countless hours hauling beach gravel and other labor-intensive work to improve the trail.
It’s an improved hike thanks to all those volunteers.
