Our valley is one of the most beautiful, untouched places on Earth. Places like ours are becoming increasingly rare every day.

We are the stewards of this place, and part of our responsibility as stewards of this place is to protect it, and we protect it by not littering, polluting or overharvesting our resources.

This mindset and way of life has sustained this valley and protected it through millennium. We are the guests of the original inhabitants and as their guests we need to show respect and be mindful of our host’s home.

A hard rock mine in our valley doesn’t just threaten our way of life; it will destroy our way of life.

There is no such thing as an “environmentally safe” mine. You don’t need to read or hear scientific explanations to understand the downside of this type of mining. You only need to understand gravity, because, over time, contaminants in a mine through gravity, and like the contents of a septic tank, go downhill.
