Haines Avalanche Center is excited to announce that on Aug. 10 we installed the tower for a new weather station in the mountains above Lutak Inlet. The Lutak weather station will serve landslide and avalanche interests by monitoring temperature, precipitation, snowpack, soil, and groundwater.
