Thank you to everyone who made the Brewers’ Dinner possible. This was the sixth time I have catered the Brewers’ Dinner and with every year that passes it seems to get better. The major difference this year was the local cooking help I received from Melina Shields and Matilda Rogers. I feel very proud of the work we accomplished and the great attitudes it was executed with. I wish I could work with them every day.
I would also like to thank my wife Rachel who worked the event with me on our 16-year wedding anniversary, Amanda Randles and the Fair staff, all the volunteers, the Uglys and Harry from Haines Packing, Paul, Jeanne and Beth from Haines Brewing and to all the people who attended, including my parents Bud and Diane who came up from Seattle just for the dinner.
It was a successful Beerfest weekend for me as I know it was for a lot of other businesses as well. Thanks to everyone for all their hard work and dedication to representation and identity of who we are as a community. I feel very proud to call Haines my home.
