From all of us here at Lynn Canal Conservation, congratulations to this year’s e-bike winner! Sally McGuire got the lucky number, and we’re so happy for her. Thanks to Sockeye Cycle for making it all possible, and thank you to all who participated in the raffle. Thanks to everyone who helped make LCC’s 2023 fair experience fun and rewarding. Generous local businesses who donated delightful prizes include Rainbow Glacier Adventures, Alaska Backcountry Outfitters, Haines Brewing Company, Jake & Macky’s Fishing Co, Extended Play’s Party Music, Neil Einsbruch’s Magic, and Betsy Van Burgh’s Pottery. Lots of new members signed up and are getting involved in local conservation issues. And LCC’s booth volunteers deserve an extra scoop of ice cream for their support. Plus, I can’t count the number of times we heard, “You guys are doing great work — keep it up!”
