Rich loved life. He loved his family, his friends, Alaska, and this Haines community. And this week you really loved him/us back. Our deepest gratitude to the first responders, the staff at the SEARHC clinic, and everyone who called, texted, emailed, sent cards, brought food, flowers, and gifts and stopped us in town to share kind words, stories and hugs. Sincere thanks also to all who helped make his memorial Mass and reception a beautiful tribute to faith and a life well lived.
You have seen many letters like this, and here’s one more reminding us all how blessed we are to live in this very special place. And in case you’re wondering, the tradition will continue. See you at Halloween. Peace be with you, my friends.
