We here at The Salvation Army would like to thank the whole community for participating in the Thanksgiving festivities sponsored by the Ministerial Association. It was a wonderful time had by all, fun and games for the kids, live music and of course lots and lots of food and desserts, but most importantly a time for folks to sit down and have some Fellowship and time together on a beautiful Thanksgiving Day. We would like to thank the Haines school for making their facility available to us, and all the volunteers who came out to help. We would also like to thank all the folks who prepared food to donate which made this day possible. In all we served approximately 90 meals at the school and delivered approximately 100 meals to folks who may not have had a Thanksgiving meal without the generosity of the good folks of Haines, Alaska.
