I am very happy to see that Margarette Jones is running for Haines Borough Assembly. I have known Margarette her entire life. She has also worked for me over the years and I can say that she is an outstanding person.
Margarette is exceptionally smart, creative, conscientious, and most of all, a born leader. She can always see a better way of doing things. She is deeply invested in Haines, having grown up here and now choosing to make her life here. Margarette has a degree in Political Science and believes in public service. You will find her to be fair-minded and level-headed. She will do her research.
I think we are very fortunate that this bright young woman is willing to serve our community on the Haines Borough Assembly. Please join me in voting for Margarette Jones!
