To the readers of CVN and the Haines Community, I am sorry that this year’s Chamber Candidate Forum was not posted in the newspaper. The missing event details were due to a miscommunication with CVN staff on my end. When we realized the mistake, it was too late to catch the paper’s deadline. I am really thankful for CVN’s staff and other community members, (namely Kathy Pardee-Jones, Carol Tuynman, and Diana Lapham), who did everything they could to help advertise the event details after we realized that the event details were not widely known.
I greatly value this community and have made my fair share of mistakes this year! I will make sure not to repeat them, but I am grateful for all of the support!
