Haines/Deishu/Chilkat Valley is at a crossroads. The upcoming borough assembly election may be the most important one we have ever had.

Will we have a community government that listens respectfully to all people? One that supports a healthy, sustainable future?

I have lived here for 27 years. In that time, I have known no one who better understands the role of leadership and the importance of sustainable local wild fish stocks and is a more respectful listener than Eric Holle.

I am also impressed by the sincere values Ben Aultman-Moore brings to the table. He speaks up when it matters. He speaks for the well-being of all.

Likewise, Dr. Bill Jurewitz offers great experience, credentials, and commitment to community. I am excited about the fresh perspective and voice he would bring to the assembly.

Please give these folks serious consideration for your votes for Borough Assembly on October 4. Each has my full support.

Thank you also to Shelly Sloper and Keely Baumgartner for stepping up to run for school board. So appreciated.
