Aug. 1 will mark the third anniversary of “I Love Lucy Harrell Day,” and I am calling on you — all residents of Haines — to honor the birthday of our late philanthropist by doing a good deed.
Over decades, Harrell gave millions of dollars to many organizations, leaving a beautiful legacy enriching the lives of every single person in this community. Make a difference on Monday, Aug. 1. Do it for Lucy. Do it for you. Do it for Haines.
