Many thanks to Alaska Marine Lines, Haines Homes Building and Howsers for donations that made the 17th Haines Polar Bear Dip a success. Also, thanks to Andy Hedden and Sam McPhetres for their great photos and video, respectively. About 40 residents and visitors took the New Year’s Day plunge and many others came down to Port Chilkoot Dock beach to cheer them on. Here’s to many more fun, community events in 2022.
