Thank you to all the decorators, snow shovelers, musicians, little tree makers, donors and bidders who made the first Lighting of the Library in two years a joy. The Friends of the Library raised nearly $5,000 that will go toward children’s programs, Internet, library materials and more. An extra shout out to Reba Heaton and Carolyn Goolsby for all their support, and Laura Clement and Lori Carter for managing the auction. Please stop by the library to enjoy its warmth and light this season. There’s plenty to read and lots of movies to check out, too. May your holidays be lovely and bright.
