I’ve been listening to the minority environmentalists. A couple of years ago, SEACC’s Shannon Donahue stated in the CVN that we have a balanced economy. Now that the one-legged stool based on tourism has collapsed, what are we left with? Handouts from the government to fill the void. The environmentalists are the party of “NO”, as SEACC’s Guy Archibald proclaimed a year ago. NO to good paying jobs. NO to diversifying our economy. NO to everything I guess, NO to getting involved and guiding our future for a healthy economy that supports families, schools and environment. He said the minority can rule.

Now I would like to hear from the majority of you that support true diversification, where mining, fishing, logging, tourism and other economic opportunities can thrive. Enough of NO. Let’s get things going here. I am still listening.
