SELFLESS SERVICE: MacKenzy Dryden urged elementary school students to write notes to veterans for Veteran’s Day last week. The letters were posted in the school and across town in local businesses and at the post office. Dryden recently became an ambassador for the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that supports wounded veterans. She helped raise $1,500 for the national organization last weekend.
