I would like to share my appreciation with both the Martin and Carter families for sharing their stories of testing positive for COVID. I especially am grateful that both families took caution to isolate as well as to quarantine close contacts. Their actions prevented the virus from spreading in Haines and made it possible for the school to stay open. We are one of the only communities with very low levels of the virus. If we all take care of each other, we can keep it that way. Thanks.
