I have owned property at Porcupine for over 45 years and have been following Haines Borough politics since then.
Although I’ve never met her, I’m very impressed with assembly member Brenda Josephson. Over her term, she obviously does her homework and she has time and time again been a voice of reasoned, thoughtful, and necessary decisive action on the assembly.
Josephson understands the duty to responsibly manage the public’s tax money to obtain results and value for the services so funded. She knows that Haines has to have a healthy private economy. Government cannot continue to subsidize and prop up the Haines Borough.
I appreciate her work so very, very much and urge that she be reelected to serve another term.
