For 12 years I was on “morgue” duty. Granted the present situation for taking care of deceased is inadequate. But realistically in 12 years no one asked to see the remains. Once in those 12 years we had 3 deaths at once. With no mortician the job is not to prepare the body for viewing. We only do what is necessary for burial which must be done within 3 days.
