Get out the PPEs! Send in the doctor! The Haines Borough Assembly is contagious, infected by the isolation pandemic, intent on spreading the virus of blaming, negativity, character assassination, and downright mean-spirited posturing rife with “I’m right. You’re wrong”.
We the people of Haines are the not-so-innocent victims. By the tone and language of the slow-spreading, phantom, viral campaign to boot the borough manager, a portion of the citizenry is equally infected and all-too ready to blame someone else for things they don’t like about government.
When will we start taking responsibility for equitably and fairly working to serve the entire community? When will we develop herd immunity and let go of the childishness of finding fault with others? It’s time to grow up and do the hard work to resolve our differences and move forward together.
