A story in last week’s CVN about the draft school district budget said a projected deficit of $572,000 included closing Mosquito Lake School. The projected deficit was based on Mosquito Lake staying open with an enrollment of only six students. Also, Gov. Sean Parnell’s foundation funding increase would add $52,000 to district revenue, not $22,000 as was reported, school officials said this week.
