I am appreciative of the assembly candidates choosing to not use plastic signs. This is an example of choices we all need to be willing to make. The candidates actually choosing this is evidence that they are long term thinkers, and are willing to do the right thing, even though it may not serve their own self-interest.
Knowing which candidate our neighbors support should not be what we base our voting choices on, so signs seem like an unnecessary one-time use of resources. We can have a fine election without signs. Please vote for and thank these candidates for not filling up our landfill and oceans.
