I want to thank everyone who helped us during a medical emergency—the EMTs, fire department, doctors and nurses, and especially Dr. Julie (Nobel) Anderson, our neighbors. I especially want to thank my friends, Dan and Wanda, and Elora who held me with tears as I waited and the kind people at the clinic. My coworker at Haines Packing who jumped in, Makayla, and unbeknownst to me then, her dad, who followed me to the clinic to make sure I got there safely.
I came here 11 years (summers) ago a stranger—you took me in and this has become my community. I love this town, this beautiful place.
