Your letter to the editor in last week’s CVN (Aug. 8) eloquently stated many of the problems with police expansion.
Police expansion in the Haines Borough is a government power grab. Haines does not need more police and does not need more government.
Gone are the days of state money flowing into Haines to prop up local government.
Who will pay for this unwanted, unneeded expansion of an already innefficient local government? Please speak out against more government.
