After a very successful Fourth of July, the Hammer Museum would like to thank everyone who came out and helped make the nail driving and spike pounding event so much fun.

A big thank you to our sponsors, Miles Furniture, Alaska Sport Shop, Lutak Lumber and Haines True Value Home Center for providing the rewards for the first and second places of the men and women.

We also would like to thank White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad for donating the railroad spikes and getting them to us so fast. Credit is also due to Haines/Skagway Fast Ferry for delivering the spikes to us quickly.

An incredibly special thank you to the Mud Bay Lumber Co. for donating the log to us as well as cutting it and getting it all ready for our event.

We at the Hammer Museum are extremely grateful for the people who came out to participate in the Spike Driving Competition as well as the Nail Driving Competition. We look forward to seeing you again next year. Thank you, Haines, for supporting the Hammer Museum!
