Kudos to the Haines Sheldon Museum. Two outstanding current exhibits you won’t want to miss. One commemorating 75 years since Japan invaded Attu on the Aleutians chain. Historical facts and pictures are enhanced by original artwork done by Andrea Nelson. The other “perspective” is a well-balanced presentation representing the advent of the white culture meeting the Chilkat culture. Call museum for schedule . School classes would also benefit by a visit to these exhibits.
