Many thanks to all those who helped make the Lighting of the Fort a success! The residents of the neighborhood have lit their houses beautifully. Jim Shook fired off an appropriate blast on the cannon and Tod Sebens added some colorful blasts overhead. The high school boys and girls basketball teams lit the luminaries that light the way to the Christ child in record time. Holly Davis put together a perfect Nativity tableau to remind us what Christmas is all about. Greg Podsiki created a blazing bonfire and Sara Ciaverelli helped cut and sharpen some 30 hot dog sticks for use at the wienie roast. We can also thank the weatherman for a perfect evening. Happy Holidays to all who came out to enjoy the fun. The Fort will be lit through the holidays, so come on by!
