Tyler Totland, 26, pleaded guilty on Nov. 28 to driving under the influence. Totland was sentenced to 120 days in jail for driving under the influence with 90 days suspended, a $3,000 fine and two years of probation among other conditions. He was also ordered to receive an alcohol evaluation and follow any recommended counseling.

Stephen Brower, 37, pleaded guilty on Jan. 23 to a reduced felony charge of coercion-fear of exposure of a secret from sexual abuse of a minor. The state dismissed an additional charge of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree. Both charges occurred on May 11, 2016. Brower was sentenced to three years in jail with one year suspended. The state also dismissed a charge on Sept. 29 of disorderly conduct on Oct. 12, 2016.

Levi Thompson, 41, pleaded no contest on Jan. 10 to driving under the influence on Jan. 4. Thompson was sentenced to 3 days of house arrest, a $1,500 fine and one year of probation. His license was suspended for 90 days and he was ordered to have an ignition interlock device installed in his vehicle for six months after regaining the privilege. He was also ordered to receive an alcohol evaluation and follow any recommended counseling.

Adam Grogan, 37, pleaded guilty on Jan. 12 to harassment in the second degree on Sept. 6, 2016. Police responded to a report of assault at the Haines airport. The victim stated Grogan insulted his wife, threatened to kill him and “sucker punched” him in the nose. Grogan was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 25 days suspended and one year of probation.

Jay Linhart, 60, pleaded guilty Aug. 31 to assault in the third degree on Aug. 31, 2016. Linhart was charged with four counts of assault in the third degree, two counts of misconduct involving a weapon in the fourth degree and a count of criminal mischief in the fourth degree after a dispute with neighbors at 33 Mile. Neighbors accused Linhart of shooting at their vehicle while they hid behind it. As part of his plea deal the additional charges were dismissed. The court sentenced Linhart to 18 months in jail with 18 months suspended, three years probation, a no contact order with the victims or 33 Mile Roadhouse and forfeited his firearm.
