Justin Lockhart, 35, pleaded guilty on Aug. 9 to two reduced charges of disorderly conduct. Police arrested Lockhart on March 16 and April 2 for domestic violence assault. On March 16, police received a call from the victim who told police Lockhart physically abused them. Police received a similar call on April 2 when the victim stated they were slapped in the face after Lockhart had come home from the bar. Lockhart was sentenced to one day in jail for each charge and a $50 fine for each charge.
Deina Davis, 36, pleaded guilty Sept. 5 to driving under the influence on June 28. Davis was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 27 days suspended, a $1,500 fine and was required to complete alcohol counseling. The three days in jail are to be served under house arrest. Davis’ license was revoked for 90 days and she was ordered to serve one year of probation. She was also ordered to have an ignition interlock device installed in her vehicle for six months after regaining the privilege to drive.
Martin Goldberg, 23, pleaded guilty on Aug. 11 to reckless driving. Another reckless driving charge was dismissed. Police received a report May 2 that Martin tailgated another vehicle and then attempted to pass, causing another driver in the oncoming lane to take evasive action. Martin was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended and fined $500.
Susan Dewall, 53, pleaded guilty Sept. 5 for driving under the influence on Feb. 2. Dewall was sentenced to 30 days in jail, a $1,500 fine and required to complete alcohol counseling. She received jail-time credit for inpatient counseling ordered by the court. Her driver’s license was revoked for 90 days and she was placed on probation for one year. She was also ordered to have an ignition interlock device installed in her vehicle for six months after regaining the privilege to drive.
