Thank you to everyone who helped make the home cross-country meet a success. Many of the athletes, coaches and fans from other communities commented on how much they enjoyed the event. In particular, thank you to the Chilkoot Indian Association for creating and sharing the beautiful boardwalk across from the high school. Also thank you to Dark Horse Construction and Tony Malone for enthusiastically permitting the course to cross through your mill. Thanks to Linnus Danner for ensuring that the race was accurately timed, Deb and Chris Kemp for picking up trash before the race, and the pep band for bringing some new spirit to the event. Finally, thank you to friends, family and school staff that volunteered during the race. Your presence was greatly appreciated.
