A couple months ago I was asked to sign the recall petition. I declined. I kept remembering the last recall we had years ago and how that divided the community with lingering animosities that lasted for years. I also reflected on the comments from several people including the Mayor, some assembly and board members as to the “mean spirit” that can rise up in Haines. I hope this recall isn’t mean spirited or bullying…
