In response to the letter submitted by Jim and Janice Studley in the Aug. 3 edition of the CVN, the Haines Borough would like to clarify that “the alley behind our house” is a borough-owned public Right-of-Way, therefore the issue was one of trespass on borough property as well as destruction of borough property. Thank you for the opportunity to clarify this.
