Last week my daughter married her man at Chilkat State Park. There were 10 events in five days for 120 out-of-towners (most of whom had never been to Alaska, much less Haines) that never would have happened without all of your help. A very partial thank-you list puts Eric Forster and Cambria Goodwin of Pilot Light fame, Jeff and Shannon Butcher at Halsingland Hotel, Joe Ordonez and Edie Granger at Rainbow Glacier Adventures and Jessica Edwards, fair director, at the top. Many more people helped marry off Megan Miller and Zachary Cirivello, including Tim Hockin and Melina Shields, Andrew Cardella, Michael Smith, Julie Rae, Gene Kennedy, Jen Reid, Jessie Miller and Linda Buckley – the list is too long for this letter.
It is with sincere gratitude for all who housed, fed, loaned cars, schlepped tables and chairs and generally pitched in. Thank you.
