Jessica Kenny, a Brown University classmate of Tia Heywood, stopped in for a daylong visit last week. She was aboard the Star Princess cruise ship in Skagway with her parents and took a fast ferry to Haines. The pair saw Chilkoot Lake, hiked to Battery Point, visited the brewery and coached youth soccer. A graduate in development studies, Jessica lives in Curitiba, Brazil.
