Regarding Gershon Cohen’s comments in the Feb. 23 CVN story, I ask, “Are we looking at the same river?” I’ve been looking at it for 77 years. “Awareness” to me is what Mother Nature brings to the table, the largest contractor in the world. In my 77 years, millions of yards of material like logs, stumps, gravel and mud moved in the Chilkat River from 21 Mile to Pyramid Harbor.
Gershon, the Chilkat River is not at the Palmer mine exploration site.
