On behalf of the Southeast Alaska State Fair and the Takshanuk Watershed Council, thanks to all who attended the Wild and Scenic Film Festival Friday.
Thanks to the local businesses that sponsored the event. Norman Hughes and F/V Chilkat donated wild-caught Alaskan rockfish for a seafood soup. Baker Josie Allen donated fresh sourdough bread, and Haines Brewing Co. donated beer. Staff at The Babbling Book sold tickets. Barefoot Winery donated wine. Community members created delicious desserts for a silent auction to offset event costs. Haines Friends of Recycling set up and collected recycling and composting stands. It was a fun evening! Thank you.
