The May 14 opening of the Jilkaat Kwaan Cultural Heritage Center and Bald Eagle Preserve Visitor’s Center was preceded by dancing and speeches by village clan and house leaders as well as by presentations by Tlingit leaders Rosita Worl and Albert Kookesh.
