Martin Goldberg, 19, was sentenced June 11 after pleading guilty to first-degree criminal trespass March 10. Goldberg and another man took an Alaska Department of Fish and Game truck, drove it into the Delta Western parking lot and ran. An attendant took the keys from the vehicle. When the pair returned, they discovered the keys missing and fled to a white truck waiting nearby. The white truck later returned to buy gas, when the attendant recognized the man. Goldberg was sentenced to 80 hours of community service, $50 in fines, to write a letter of apology to the Department of Fish and Game and one year probation. A charge of first-degree vehicle theft was dismissed.

Michael B. Culich, 62, was sentenced June 19 after pleading guilty to driving with a suspended license Dec. 23, 2012. Culich slid off Mosquito Lake Road into a ditch and investigation revealed he was driving with a suspended license. He was sentenced to a $500 fine, a $50 fee, 80 hours of community service, 90 days of license revocation and one year probation.

Cassandra R. Curtis, 22, was sentenced Aug. 8 after pleading guilty to driving with a revoked license April 7. An officer saw Curtis driving through an apartment complex parking lot and thought she was having trouble with the manual transmission. The officer discovered Curtis was driving with a revoked license. Curtis was sentenced to a $250 fine, $100 in fees and one year probation.

Bruce J. Bauer, 56, was sentenced June 25 after pleading guilty to aiding or abetting the firing of a gun by a highway April 29. Bauer allowed multiple guests at his lodge to use his shotgun to shoot clay pigeons and instructed them to shoot from the roadway. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, $100 in fees, one year probation, forfeiture of the shotgun and to write a letter of apology to nearby homeowners.

William C. Morgan, 22, was sentenced June 25 after pleading guilty to second-degree criminal trespass May 9. An officer observed Morgan and another man in the restricted area of the Port Chilkoot Dock. Investigation revealed Morgan was intoxicated and had hopped the fence to enter the secured area. Morgan was sentenced to a $250 fine, $100 in fees, eight hours of community service, an alcohol evaluation and one year probation.

James W. Marshall, 46, was sentenced July 30 after pleading guilty to driving with a revoked license May 27. An officer responded to a report of a drunk driver and discovered Marshall was driving with a revoked California license. Marshall was sentenced to a $250 fine, a $50 fee and one year probation.
