The Haines School’s Community Education program will be offering classes in silk painting and Adobe Lightroom starting at the end of the month.
High school science teacher Ashley Hutton will teach students how to paint and dye silk scarves. Materials are included in the $60 class fee. Classes will be held for five weeks, starting 6 p.m. on Thursdays in the high school art room. The class begins March 31.
Haines photographer Ron Horn will teach students about Lightroom, a photo enhancement and organization program, starting 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, in the high school social studies room. A total of six sessions will be offered, including on Mondays. The class fee is $100.
