I have spoken to many people and heard from others about the service, or lack of, from AT&T. November has been particularly bad, with no Internet and spotty phone service. I have spent hours on the phone with AT&T, with responses including, “It’ll be worked on tomorrow;” “The antenna has been moved;” “Frequencies have changed;” and “You are now out of the service area.” The fact is something has changed and needs to be fixed. With the upcoming heli-ski season approaching and the summer season not too distant, the Haines Borough, tour companies and businesses should be aware that your clients will likely be affected by AT&T’s poor service. According to AT&T tech support, priority is given to service issues receiving the most complaints, so contact AT&T today if you are receiving less-than-adequate service.
