The pilot of a four-passenger plane that crashed into Lynn Canal last week said the survival of those on board hinged not on one person or decision, but on a series of fortuitous actions and reactions.
“I am convinced that God had a hand in saving us,” Mike Mackowiak said this week from Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. “There are too many things that, so easily moved just a fraction, we would have all been dead.”
