A Haines jury last week failed to come to consensus on two felony charges against resident Ted Hart, but assistant district attorney Amy Williams said she is not letting go of the case.
Williams said Hart’s second trial is scheduled for May 4.
Hart, 29, will face one felony count of possession of a concealable firearm. The court last week dismissed a second similar count for knowingly being in a residence containing a concealable weapon
According to court documents, in August 2014, Hart’s probation officer found two handguns in Hart’s home while he was on probation for felony driving under the influence.
