A meeting of the Lutak tank farm Restoration Advisory Board will be held 7 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Chilkat Center.

The local board, which advises on the cleanup of the Cold War fuel depot, may hear a report on “data gaps” on contamination at the site, said Anne Marie Palmieri of the state Department of Envicronmental Conservation.

Also expected at the meeting is a report on U.S. Army Corps of Engineer projects involving the tank farm pipeline.

“This is more of a public meeting than a RAB meeting,” Palmieri said.
