Parents can fill out a simple, one-page application, school officials said.
Annual registration is vital for the school district to qualify for federal compensation for school food programs and to qualify for some grants.
Meal discount eligibility forms are available at the school office and can be returned there or mailed to the district at P.O. Box 1289, Haines, AK 99827.
