Jake Bell tears apart a steel cabinet Friday afternoon at the Haines Friends of Recycling scrap metal recycling event. The two-day collection effort filled a 40-foot van with scrap metal. The event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit. More than 30 volunteers participated.
