A big thank-you to our team of 21 volunteers from Haines Friends of Recycling that provided over 110 hours of volunteer time June 6 and 7 to recycle 12,201 pounds of electronics from 140 vehicles. Our total amount of electronics recycled in the last eight years is now 114,738 pounds. Pretty amazing! And thank you to Mountain Market for cookies and coffee to keep the group sugared and caffeinated to do the job!
