I would like to thank the following people for helping make last weekend’s bridge tournament such a huge success: Gregg Bigsby for his ever-popular smoked salmon, along with Jim Studley for organizing and cooking the king salmon and prime rib dinner; Roger Schnabel for Haines Brewing beer; Haines club members for side dishes and desserts; Bob and Sally Lix, Barbara Keller, and Stan Jones for help and advice; Dave Olerud and Cheryl McRoberts for providing the American Bald Eagle Foundation and keeping the facility comfortable and clean for us over the weekend; director Roger Putnam for keeping us all in order; Olerud’s and Haines Quick Shop for donations of ice; and, most of all, to all the players who came from near and far for our annual “bridge family” reunion.
