Haines Big Brothers Big Sisters appreciates the generous gift from Pacific Pile and Marine to support a more vigorous effort to recruit new volunteers, especially men. This month’s CVN display ad also emphasizes the role that Bigs play in “Building Assets.”
When an adult takes a personal interest in a youth and invests intentional, consistent time, that individual becomes a positive asset builder. Engaging a youth consistently in an active, healthy life, and helping them express a new view of their future, are a few examples. Our message that more men are needed doesn’t mean we don’t need Big Sisters. More volunteers mean more asset builders. Thank you, Brian Clark, and Pacific Pile and Marine, for helping make the next match.
