As a user-group, what makes heli-skiers special? All other user-groups will be affected by this winter’s low snowfall. The fishermen, commercial, subsistence and sport all have permits, regulations and maps for their areas. Hunters and trappers have permits, regulations and maps for their areas. None of these groups has the opportunity to whine to the borough assembly to open up other areas for them if the weather is not to their liking. The low snowfall will affect fishing, hunting and berry-picking for the next several years. It’s time for the heli-skiers to grow up and quit whining for government to bail them out.
